The Israeli occupation authorities on December 12, 2014 served a stop-work and construction on a barrack( used for animal husbandry) belonging to citizen Mahmoud Obied in the area of Khirbet al-Tabban in Yatta village. The order came under the pretext of unlicensed construction.

Citizen Obied asserted that Israel Civil Administration handed him out the order and compelled immediate termination of work. The order mentioned that December 25,2014 was set as the hearing session for the Planning Committee in the court of Beit El to consider whether to demolish the structure or restore its previous status.

Obied also pointed out that he sought an attorney to help objecting the order in the Israeli tribunal system, clarifying that the barrack was established after the occupation removed a tent  he used to shelter his sheep in. Noteworthy, the barrack is of 90m2 in area.

It should be marked that Khirbet al-Tabban is located in the area of  Masafer Yatta, which includes 8 small communities the Israeli occupation works on displacing.
