LRC: Demolition of a number of agricultural and residential structures in Farsh al-Hawa

Violation: Israeli occupation authorities level agricultural structures
Date:  08/04/2014
Perpetrators: The Israeli Civil Administration
Victims: People of Hebron
Location: Farsh al- Hawa, Hebron governorate

Details:

On Tuesday, April 08, 2014, Israeli occupation authorities destroyed an agricultural room and a water closet in Farsh al-Hawa, west of Hebron.

Eyewitnesses stated to an LRC researcher that: "a large force of the Israeli army riding a bulldozer and accompanying staff of the Civil Administration broke into Farsh al-Hawa early in the morning and embarked on leveling agricultural structures."

The Israeli occupation leveled a 20m2 tent (built on metal bars and roofed with a plastic shed) belonging to Bassam Dwaik who used to rest in it after a day of hard work in his land. Besides, the authorities demolished a water closet nearby the tent.

Land Research Center (LRC), part of Arab Studies Society, considers the ferocious wave of attack on Palestinian construction and structures all over the West Bank including Jerusalem. Israel's practices are a flagrant breach of God's will and message. He, SWT, says: [ …He has produced you from the earth and settled you in it, so ask forgiveness of Him and then repent to Him. ] [Hud, 61] and means that Allah has created us, granted us with many bounties and made us His successors in order to build the earth and benefit ourselves as well as others. But the Israeli occupation misinterprets the right of succession; they have destroyed and looted land, set fire to its trees and destroyed what is built on it.
