The Israeli occupation threatens to demolish a pool in Hebron

Details:

The Israeli occupation authorities threatened to demolish an agricultural water pool belonging to Muhammad Al Dumairi and located in Wadi Al Mughayyir, south of the West Bank city of Hebron.

On March 30, Al Dumairi received an order entitled "additional opportunity to object to a demolition order" granting him 3 additional days to respond to the accusations and obtain a construction permit after he had received a final demolition order on February 02, 2012.

Al Dumairi asserted to an LRC observer that: "The Israeli authorities sent me a stop-work order for the pool on August 29, 2011. Following that, I appointed a lawyer to follow the case up. But the Israeli occupation came back to hand me a final demolition order and now an additional opportunity to object the order."

The lawyer pointed out that he managed to delay the implementation of the demolition order to June 19, 2014. 

It should be marked that the pool was built in 2007 for agricultural purposes and for irrigating the vegetables planted in a 800-m2 greenhouse belong to Al Dumairi who depends on the Hebron Municipality to provide the pool with water.
