Date:02/12/2013

Location: Khirbet al-Farisya and Bardala

Perpetrators: the army of the Israeli occupation and the planning Council of the Civil Administration

Victims: 9 Palestinian families residing the area

Details:

The area of northern ghoors ; the Palestinian Jordan Valley witnessed a new wave of demolition and indigenous displacement carried out by the forces of the occupation on the residents of Bedouin communities and the Khirbets.

At morning of December 02nd 2013, two families from al-Farisya woke up on the voices of the  Israeli bulldozers surrounding their houses and the calls of  a loudspeaker compelling them to evacuate without getting any of the belongings out.

As a result, two residential tents and two sheep barns were demolished causing two families( 10 members including 5 minors) to become homeless. In addition, the interiors of the structures remained under rubbles which made kids deprived even from their school books. In regard to the barns, around 212 sheep became without a shelter.

The occupation justified the demolition under the pretext of unlicensed construction within area classified C according to Oslo Accord. Noteworthy, the structures were notified with stop work by the beginning of past February. The following table shows information about the targeted structures:

It is indicated and within the same context that the troops of the occupation destroyed, on the same day, 7 barns for livestock( made of metal slabs) in the village of Bardala, east of Tubas( 26km away).

It is indicated that four of the targeted barns were funded by Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development ACTED as a support for the marginalized citizen of Palestinian ghoor.

It should be marked that the aforementioned barns were previously notified with stop work on the past September under the pretext of  unlicensed construction on "State Land". Those structures ended up destroyed on this current December.

According to the chairman of Bardala village council Ahamad Rabai'a, farmers losses due to the demolitions were estimated of 270,000INS. The following table shows information about the demolition in Bardala:
