Details:
On December 25, 2012, Israeli troops accompanied by officers of the so-called Higher Organization Council broke into Wadi al Nis village and handed the locals 5 stop-work order for 5 residences. The orders, entitled ‘stop-work orders’ were issued by the Higher Organization Council on the pretext of unlicensed construction in area classified ‘C’ according to Oslo Accords.
Imran Said, a member of the village Council, said the Israeli Occupation Authorities informed the locals that it will come with new orders for their neighbors.

Wadi al Nis:
A village located 6.8 km to the south of Bethlehem; surrounded by the Israeli segregation Wall and the colonies of Afrat and Migdal Oz. The village total area is 10437 dunums inhabited by 870 people who rely on agriculture and herding in their living.
Throughout the years, the village was subjected to numerous Israeli attacks including house demolitions, destruction of property in addition to the expansion of the nearby colonies. Examples of Israeli violations of Palestinian rights in Wadi al Nis:
By the end of January, 2011, the Israeli Occupation Authorities confiscated over 40 dunums of the agricultural lands in the village.
In March, 2010, the Israeli Occupation Army handed villagers six demolition orders for 6 residences located in the eastern side of the village. The orders gave the locals one month to respond and if they failed to do so they were to demolish the residences by themselves or pay the demolition costs.
