Khirbit At Tawil is considered part of Aqraba village; it is located 1.5 km from Aqraba’s built up area. It is known for having a number of Islamic and Roman ruins known as Tal al Khashaba, Al Arqan, etc. It consists of a number of old cisterns that spread all around the village lands which clearly indicates that the village has been inhabited for a long time.

The fertile lands and moderate climate made At Tawil convenient for herding and agriculture which encouraged a number of the locals to invest in its lands.
