Violation: a stop-work order for a residence.

Date: December 15, 2012.

Location: Ma’in, Yata – Hebron.

Perpetrators: the so-called Organization and Construction Committee – the Israeli Occupation Civil Administration.

Victim: Mahmoud Makhamra.

 

Details:

 

On December 25, 2012, the Israeli Occupation Authorities issued a stop-work order for Mahmoud Mkhamra residence in Ma’in area to the south of Yatta. The owner said that he built his residence in 2005 and that he received a stop-work order a year later. At that time, he assigned Mousa Makhamra, an attorney of law, to defend his case in Israeli Courts.

He said that the lawyer managed to obtain a Court decision freezing the stop-work order but was shocked to receive another order on December 25. The targeted residence is inhabited by a 12-member-family (including 4 children); its total area is 170 m2.
