On November 12, 2012, a group of Israeli colonists broke into al Manshiyya village at around 3:00. A member of Ahmad Jaradat family heard strange sounds around his house, when he opened the door, the colonists fled the scene. Soon afterwards, 3 gas containers were found under one of the windows; it is apparent that the colonists were on the verge of setting it alight. The next day, the Israeli Police showed up to investigate the attack and confiscated the containers.

The attack has spread fear among the locals; one of them commented ‘we are unable to sleep after this attack’ as it was obvious that the family was miraculously saved. Coherently, the same group of colonists wrote offensive slogans in Hebrew on the walls of Ahmad abu Dayyah residence.
