Bedouins in Khirbet Ibzeq live a very simple life in wooden houses depending on cattle and agriculture and lacking the minimum necessities of life such as electricity and water that they bring from Tubas 8km away.

According to the Chief of Khirbet Ibzeq, 123 people (21 families) permanently live in Khirbet Ibzeq apart from a number of Bedouin families that live there in spring and summer seeking food and water. The residents of Khirbet Ibzeq are from several families: two-thirds of the residents are from Al-Hroob family originating from the occupied territories of 1948 and so they are refugees, other families are: Al-Khdoor, Jabarin, Sawafta, and Mahathma originating from different regions of the West Bank.

Noting that Khirbet Ibzeq expands over an area of 8000 dunums 5000 of which are considered as treasury lands of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and Bedouin are not allowed to make use of them because of the repeated attacks of the occupation army such as the previously mentioned notification of eviction. These areas are also considered closed military territories and training areas for the Israeli occupation army, as the occupation authorities issued a decree forbidding Bedouins from using them in addition to depriving the region from important agricultural lands.

Khirbet Ibzeq is threatened of evacuation and displacement on the grounds that it is a closed military zone, which is constantly targeted by the Israeli occupation, for more information about Israeli violations of Khirbet Ibzeq during 2012, kindly see the following reports of LRC:
