Picture 1-2: life in the Jordan valley

The Israeli forces took the cows to the nearby Hamadat military camp and penalized the owners an amount of 7000 ILS. This crime is added to the long list of crimes committed by the Israeli Army and colonists in Wadi al Maleh area knowing that the residents of the area lack the basic services of water and electricity while leading very simple and primitive lives. At the same time, the Israeli colonial plans in Wadi al Maleh area continue unabated as colonists enjoy all kinds of services and privileges.

It is worthy to mention that the Israeli Occupation Authorities have set the Jordan Valley as a target for colonial expansions; in addition, it has turned over 70 % of its total area into military camps and mine fields preventing the Palestinians from any chance of development or expansions and forcing them to leave the area.

Al Maleh area is located in the Jordan Valley, 10 km to the north east of Tubas; around 104 families reside in the area, these families live in 9 different gatherings.
