Jamal at-Tawil said that Israeli troops raided his farm on January 24, 2012 and confiscated some equipment. He said: ‘I was in Jerusalem when I received a call from a neighbor telling me that Israeli troops breached the gate leading to my 2-dunum-farm, shed, and a store‘.
When he got to his farm, he found out that the Israelis have thoroughly inspected it and confiscated (or stole) a generator, 3 gas tubes, cooking pots, and a bending machine. He believes that the Israelis intend to scare him away of his land knowing that they had previously demolished a well and some sheds that were used for storage in addition to ravaging part of his field in February, 2011.
