The Israeli Occupation Municipality in Jerusalem serves Al ‘Isawiyya Town with Demolition Orders The Israeli Municipality in the Occupied City broke into Al Isawiyya and started a random distribution of demolition orders. On December 22, 2011, officers of the Israeli Municipality spread in the town sticking demolition orders on the houses. Abdul Fattah Issa, one of the targets, stated: ‘in 2005, I applied for a construction license for a 2-story, 460-m2 building with a total number of 6 flats; I received the license in 2007 and started the construction in 2010. the building is still under construction.’

He added: ‘I was informed by the neighbors that the Municipality hanged a paper on the building entrance; when I checked it, I found that it was an administrative demolition order. Now I have two orders, one allows me to continue construction and the other prohibits it.’

‘The demolition orders are distributed in a random way without any preferences; its officers come to a certain area and start distributing the orders according to their own views of illegality; I will take this to court and try to stop this joke.’

Usually, the Israeli Municipality hangs the orders on the doors and sometimes they throw it in the house yards without being concerned about verifying if it was received by the owner or was carried away by the wind or destroyed by the rain. Its only concern is limiting, or preventing if possible, the Arab population expansion and development.
