Demolishing a Shed and a Barn in Beit Safafa
At around 10:00 am, on December 20, 2011, Israeli police and Municipality staff broke into the perimeter of Ali Salah (101) residence located in Beit Safafa. Without issuing any warning, the dozers leveled a barn and a shed; the contents were also destroyed.
Ibrahim Salah stated to an LRC observer: ‘I received a phone call; the caller told me that the Israeli Municipality showed up and demolished the sheds; I immediately went to the site but all I could see is destruction.‘ The structures are the property of Ibrahim Salah; more than 50 people depend on the barn and the adjacent shed in their living .

It must be noted that the Salahs had previously been evicted from their house which was given to Israeli colonists. The house was built in 1966, before the Israeli conquest of the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
