75 families are living in constant fear of displacement after the sequence of destruction held by the Israeli Occupiers. Wasif Hanani, one of the victims who witnessed the destruction of his tent for the fifth time stated to an LRC observer: “I was born and raised in Tana; I grow up in these fields; I inherited the land from my father. Now, we are threatened with deportation; how are we going to live? Where will we go?” Wasif was wondering about his and his children future.

Israel, is not hiding its land confiscation policy; it has been chasing people out of their homes while safely staying there. ‘Atef Hanani stated to an LRC observer: “what is happening in Tana is annihilation; the Israelis justify their acts by claiming that Tana is located in a military zone and sometimes building without permits. The truth is that the Israelis want to take over the whole area and use it for colonial expansion purposes”.
