The occupation threatens to demolish houses in Janba and Al-Markez in Masafer Yatta

  • Description:

Monday, 12 august 2019, the Israeli occupation authorities issued a halt of work notice on a house belongs to Omar Al-Rab’ae, and served “An additional chance for objection” notices to several houses in Al-Markiz.

  • Halt of work notices: Citizen Omar Raba’e received a halt of work notice on a room built of bricks and steal sheets , the targeted room was used as a residence, it has an area of 50 m2, and built in 2018 with the funding of a humanitarian international institution, the room was an asylum for a family of 5 (3 children).

  • Notices for objections: A vehicle related to the building and organization department in the civil administration raided Al-Markiz , and served notices to:
  • Yousif Makhamra: Yousif was notified that he only have 3 days to object on the demolition order that was issued on his residence , which is a room built of bricks and steal sheets (25 m2) , funded by a human rights institution in 2018 , and used by a family of 5.

  • Omar Hoshiya: Omar was notified that he only has 3 days to object on the demolition that was issued on his residence, which is a room built of bricks and steal sheets , it has an area of 30 m2, and used by a family of 6 (4 of them are children) , it was built in 2018 with the funding of an international human rights institution.
