Colonists damage 20 Palestinian cars in the periphery of Nablus city

Violation: destroying more than 20 cars

Location:  southern suburb of Nablus

Date: October 01, 2015

Perpetrators:  colonies founded in Nablus

Details:

At the evening of killing an officer from the army and his wife on the bypass road that leads to Itamar colony, southeast Nablus city, tens of colonists on October 01, 2015 went out to the streets calling on killing all Arabs. Also, the irritated colonists pelted stones at the cars traveling through the road linking between Ramallah and Nablus and the bypass road that is founded nearby the colony.

Mr. Ghassan Daghlas from Nablus governorate told a researcher from Land Research Center that more than twenty cars were partially and entirely damaged as a result to being pelted with rocks by colonists, who also closed the entrances of Burin, Beit Dajan and Huwwara villages by earth mounds and rocks. Even ambulances were not safe from colonists’ attacks.

At the same night, colonists pelted rocks at an ambulance relative to Palestinian Red Crescent at the entrance of Huwwara village. Noteworthy, the ambulance was moving a mother and her two kids suffocated by teargas inhalation to the emergency center of Ibin Sina in Huwwara. The driver had to back off and medics gave the necessary treatment to the injured in the ambulance.

It should be marked that a group of fanatic colonists from Yizhar on October 02, 2015 attacked an ambulance, which was carrying a medical staff, heading to Al-Shaheed Yasir Arafat hospital in Salfit. The vehicle was badly damaged and some of the staff sustained minor scratches and injuries.

This is not the first time colonist and Israeli Forces attack doctors, medics and ambulance, which is internationally prohibited according to all laws and covenants.
