Violation: notifications to modify ‘borders’ for 16.2 dunums.

Capturing lands in TulKarm:


 


On August 28, 2012, the Israeli Occupation Authorities handed TulKarm Municipality an order extending the Israeli Occupation Army control over 1234 dunums in the south western part of TulKarm, precisely parcel 8177, plot 38 which edges the commercial crossover which separates TulKarm from the areas occupied in 1948.


 


The order, entitled laying hand over lands – extension and border modifications, and numbered (T/21/04) is an extension of capturing lands which were taken over in 2004 for the purpose of placing a watchtower.


 


Capturing lands in Shufa:


 


Meanwhile, the Israeli Occupation Army informed Shufa Village Council of the extension of its control over 7.29 dunums of the village lands in parcel 2 of Ras al Arqoub area for the placement of a military watchtower and an outpost.  The order, entitled laying hand over lands – extension and border modifications, and numbered (T/79/04) is an extension of capturing lands which were taken over in 2004 for the purpose of placing a watchtower. It must be noted that Shufa village, 9 km to the south of TulKarm, suffered a large number of attacks from colonists of Avni Hefetz and Innab in addition to the Israeli Occupation Army continuous closures of its roads.
